Texas Programs

Enjoy a special Christmas break “deep in the heart of Texas”, and celebrate your holidays with friendly families and cordial churches! Houston is special with home-stays and an active program—visit Space Center Houston at NASA, see a Texas ranch, dip your toes in a wave of the Gulf of Mexico at Galveston, try square dancing and line dancing, cruise the Port of Houston, and sense Texas history at the San Jacinto Battleground! Even if the weather is sometimes cold, you can expect your Houston welcome to be warm!

One of the activities during your visit is our annual International Dinner for which you will be asked to prepare your favorite dish or a dish from your country to share. Please bring a recipe. You are also invited to bring costumes, pictures and other items from your country.
