“Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina in the morning – or for Christmas”. Experience the truth of that statement in North Augusta, which is located on the South Carolina Bank of the Savannah River. North Augusta has a population of 17,500. Across the river lies the city of Augusta, Georgia, thus providing a mixture of town and country living. Its short mild winter climate has long made this area a winter resort.
What are you looking for this Christmas? If it’s the opportunity to experience the warm friendliness of an American home, sharing in the celebration of the birth of Christ, visiting industrial or historic sites, recreation, meeting with other International Students, or just getting away from it all, this is the place to be. We will offer numerous planned activities, but you will be free to choose whatever you please.
In the past years, long term friendships have become common between our CIH students and their hosts.
