Christmas International House was started in Gaithersburg in 1979 by Eleanor Munch with members of the Gaithersburg Presbyterian Church and friends in this area.  Since that time, our program has hosted well over 400 students.  Over the years more area churches have become involved in our program and have helped our program grow.  Many lasting friendships have been made over the years.

We are located just outside our nation’s Capitol.  Check out our web site in a few weeks for details.

You are welcome to come by plane to Reagan National Airport and then you must take METRO rail to Gaithersburg, Maryland [special directions:  RED train to Shady Grove-we will pick you up here]; or train to the Union Train Station in Washington, DC then METRO rail to Gaithersburg.  Both the airport and rail station have METRO rail stops to bring you here.  If you come to BWI or Dulles, you will have to take a cab or shuttle and that will cost you from $50 to $75 each way.  We hope you will visit us!
